Andrea Hernandez is a co-founder and co-director of edJEWcon. She has been teaching since the last century and has not only witnessed the changes that have impacted education but has become a leader in articulating and implementing these changes in meaningful ways in schools. Andrea believes strongly in giving students choice and voice. She believes that all stakeholders (parents, teachers, students, administrators) must be open to new ideas and new ways of learning. She understands the potential of “transforming Jewish education one blog at a time” because she has personally experienced, both as teacher and student, the power of reflection and documentation on the path of growth.
Andrea is honored to support the Charles E. Smith blogging cohort as their coach and guide on this journey of teachers making their own learning transparent.
